I still think that wall is full of mind control demons. If agnostics were allowed to analyze it they'd probably be able to identify the linear aspect; "a novel strain of cordyceps" or somesuch. Think: why is there no preservation effort? It's supposedly so important, and yet there's no "do not touch" policy; in fact the exact opposite, with generations of world leaders being made to rub their hands and faces on the wall. Reverently bowing to it doesn't suffice: direct physical contact is mandatory. For what purpose, if not to spread something that infects by touch?
