I heard this from a commentator a while back, I forget which one but it has stuck with me. Basically that there were 4 ideologies that were at war during WWII. Nazism, Fascism, Communism and Liberalism. Nazism: Idolatry of race. Failed. Fascism: Idolatry of the state. Failed. Communism: Idolatry of class. Failed. Liberalism: Idolatry of self. Failing.
