I believe the solution is the following: You solve it with your parents/grandparents. If every milennial solves it with their attached boomer counterpart, as millennials know how to deal with hard problems, it will solve most issues. I dealt with my parents and grandparents myself. Talked everything through with them around 15 years ago. Got all my share from their wealth when the time came, cascading properly, through parents who cascaded further the shares I would get from them. With realtively even between grandkids and kids. They knew the drill, we knew the drill. My greatest generation and boomer frictions are solved financially and respect-wise, many years ago. What else could I ask for?
