The first set of reps is the hardest. The second set isn’t much better. The third set, your body starts to accept that it’s time to work out and gets in gear. Too many stop at the first set because “it’s hard”. The second set becomes confirmation bias. Freedom and growth start at set 3. The first two sets build strength of character. The rest build physical strength.
